Diego Costa's Stellar Performance helps Atléti beat Real Madrid 4 - 2  After two hard defeats in the champions league final, it was a very important game for Atlético Madrid to overcome their arch rivals Real Madrid. With their heads held high, they did so by finally defeating Real in an European competition final.  It all started from the kick off as Diego Costa scored from a tight angle to give Atléti with the lead. Well, Antoine Griezmann ensured Atléti lifts the European trophy this time. Fernando Torres to leave Atlético Madrid at end of season.
